Macro Photo Tip

Macro Photo Tip: Shooting close-up images, often referred to as macro photography, is popular with those who love to photograph flowers, insects and nature. Technically, macro photography is categorized as a subject shot at 1x or greater magnification. If you want to experiment with macro photography but don’t have a macro lens, consider using an extension tube. Extension tubes are designed to enable a lens to focus closer than its normal minimum focusing distance. They are exceptionally useful for macro photography, enabling you to convert almost any lens into a macro lens at a fraction of the cost while maintaining its original optical quality.
