Sports Shooter Tip:

When shooting a sporting event, such as your child’s soccer game, pay attention to the time of day because the position of the sun can make a substantial impact on the quality of your photos. If the game is in the early morning or evening, try to shoot with the sun on your subject’s face and front side (with the sun at your back). If it’s the middle of the day, the strong overhead sun can create unwelcome shadows so pay careful attention to how the sunlight affects your shot.
